Well what a pain of a day. Firstly evertime I tried to get into my blog it redirected me elsewhere, it even managed to link me to a Chinese TV station. I thought that it had been hacked into but after messing about for a while I had to remove the Premier League gadget which was on the right side of the blog to fix the problem.
As I mentioned yesterday I have been really suffering with some sort of cold/virus which seems to have had different symptons everyday. Last night I couldnt sleep, I was hot then cold , had a tight chest and sore throat, so I got up at 1am and logged on to watch some tennis. This was a big mistake as I kept laying a player who was clearly the better of the two. I need to remember that by laying a player I am actually backing the other and it was probably the most frustrating game I have been involved in all year. This girl kept teasing me into thinking she had a chance then she would make a complete balls up. She obviously knew I was betting ! This game turned into my biggest loss this year on a tennis match of £150.
I was going to give it a miss again today but after last nights cock up I got up and tried to make a profit. So Bet Cat had one selection £20 e/w on El Presidente in the 4.55, I think it went off at 28/1 and after making a hopeful start it ran out of juice a long way from home. Equine had two, one was withdrawn and the other got beat by a nose losing me £50. PP had a double bet and yet again they found a winner which was nice...
I had three picks with one Fromsong getting placed.
Managed to also get my tennis loss down and had a few nag bets on Betfair that came in, so I would describe today as better than it was at 2.30 am.
Hope your ok Eddy?

Hi Richard,
ReplyDeleteYes thanks getting better, hope all is well in the Bet Cat world.
Cheers
Glad you're on the mend, started to get a bit worried.
ReplyDeleteSure is, though a decent winner wouldn't go amiss. Sods law we're being trialled on www.geegeez.co.uk and we hit a losing run! Confident we'll get out of the rut very soon - always think this is a hard time of year to be backing winners. We've got our heads in the Cheltenham formbooks - reckon we may have unearthed a few decent bets.
Cheers
Richard

Thanks Richard all is getting better. As for the horses you do tend to tip the bigger price ones at the weekends so are bound to get a losing run.
ReplyDeleteHopefully things will look a lot brighter this time next week !
