A lazy Sunday with not a lot of racing. JC at Tipping Legends is giving a free week as a lot of festivals have been called off recently. Not sure whether thats good or bad, only time will tell !
He sent out two bets in the same race the 2.20 at Plumpton. Pipo De Re e/w and Shakas Pearl e/w. The latter stayed on very strongly to get the third place to make it a no loss race. Bet Catalysts only offering like yesterday was in the same race. It was called Kawagino. I got it early at a very nice price, and there was money for it before the off but in a twinkling of an eye it had fallen at the first fence.
So a loss of £40 which was covered by my only bet of the day, Beau Fighter in the 12.50 which was a proper bit of each way thievery. It came home third at 16/1, winning me £55. I had it BOG with Tote.
The BDO darts kicked off in earnest today. If you get an opportunity to trade this i think it is a great tournament, its very much as wild as womens tennis ! The first game i scratched but the second game was a great match. Atkins traded as low as 1.03 very early on and after observing some really poor finishing i thought i would get involved. His opponent was Paul Carter who last year had given one of his kidneys to his sister and hadnt been able to play for a long time due to his recovery. It was a real fairytale as he came from 1-0 down to win the match 3-1. How Atkins traded at 1.03 was beyond me.
I have a few NFl bets to run tonight.
